When I wrote this song, I had had a horrendous day. Everyone in one of my classes was being awful, my professors were both in shitty moods so they were giving us a hard time, and I'd been having a rough time at home. I was generally mad at society and myself to a degree, so writing this song helped me metaphorically explode. I still believe a lot of my social critiques ring true, honestly. Maybe that's the elitist in me coming out, but I think the song speaks for itself.

Putting life into words is the struggle I’m facing
My heart is getting heavy and my mind is racing
I’m doing what I love and everything is amazing
But the impending future is scary and bracing
What happens when this ends?
At least I know I’m pulling through with my best friends
